About our wood!

At David Ward Firewood, we operate a zero-waste policy from forest to fire.

Any wood that cannot be sold as logs is used to fuel our kiln, ensuring nothing goes to waste. The sawdust produced during processing is sent to a composting facility, where it is reused in gardens across the country.

Our packaging is made from 100% recyclable polypropylene, helping to reduce environmental impact.

All of our timber is locally sourced, which allows us to maintain consistently high quality and full traceability. I know the origin of every tree used to produce our firewood. By sourcing, processing and supplying logs locally, we help keep your fuel as close to carbon neutral as possible.

With growing concerns about global warming, we believe it is important that firewood is not imported from overseas or transported long distances from unknown or unregulated sources.

Our approach ensures your logs are responsibly sourced, locally produced and environmentally considered.
